Meet the Author

Picture of the Author

Some people write in search of answers. Others write because they have learned that questions themselves can be a path.
Thorsten Lux belongs to the latter.

Born in 1971 in Giessen, he grew up alongside doubt—and over time discovered that doubt can sometimes grow wings. For him, language is not a tool but a space of movement: as malleable as music, open to nuance. Sounds fascinate him because they feel like memories that have not yet decided what they want to be.

Under the name Reim und Klang, he has been making radio for more than twenty years, filming with friends, and laughing at life—even when it occasionally becomes too loud.

He writes about being human: about fear and justice, change, dignity, and humor. About everything that allows us to grow the moment we stop hiding.

His stories are simple, but never simplistic.
Because truth needs no foreign words—only a little courage.
